Who we are
FunnelIQ, a sole proprietorship of Joel Shakespear, #1087, 11700 Preston Rd STE 720, Dallas, TX 75230. To reach us, use the email address in the footer of this page. FunnelIQ serves US businesses only.
What the site collects
- Visit signal (always on, no cookies): our own small script sends the page name, the path and the time to our automation tool. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and doesn't send your IP address as data. It respects Global Privacy Control. It doesn't run on the confirmation page until you press Confirm.
- Form answers: what you type into the preview form (name, work email, business details), the email you give on the opt-out page, and, if you ask for the break-even report, your first name, work email, and the numbers you typed into the calculator.
- Confirmation: when you press Confirm, we record that you opted in, when, and which consent text you saw.
- Demo line: calls to the demo number are recorded. The greeting says it's an AI, and that the call is recorded.
Optional analytics (only if you accept)
If you press Accept in the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) and Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation). They set cookies and collect usage data such as pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, device and browser type, and approximate location. Clarity can record how pages are used (mouse movement, clicks and scrolling) to help us find confusing parts of the site; it masks text you type into forms. If you press Reject or ignore the banner, neither one loads. Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again; change it any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer. See Google's privacy policy and Microsoft's privacy statement.
We use Google Search Console to see how the site appears in Google search. It doesn't put anything in your browser.
No advertising pixels.
Why we use it
To send the preview you asked for, to email the break-even report you asked for, to send the emails you opted into, to honor opt-outs, and to see which pages help people and which don't.
How long we keep it
Anonymous visit counts are daily totals, with no record of you as a person. We keep those totals for 24 months.
Preview requests, break-even report requests, and the record of what you confirmed (when, and which consent text) are kept while we're in touch and for 3 years after the last email we send you or you cancel, whichever is later. That is so we can show you asked. If you ask us to delete sooner, we delete the request and your answers.
Opt-outs are kept permanently: the email address and the date. A deletion request does not remove an opt-out. That record is what stops us writing again.
If you become a client, your settings, decision log, and scorecard stay while you are a client and for 3 years after you cancel, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. You can export them any time.
Billing records (the plan, the amount, and the date) are kept for 7 years for our tax records. We never store your full card number. Stripe does.
Demo-line recordings are kept so we can hear how the line sounds. Email us if you want yours deleted.
If you accept analytics, Google and Microsoft keep that data under their own settings. We don't copy it into ours.
Who processes it
Make, Airtable, Resend, Kit, Instantly, Telnyx, Stripe, Calendly and Hostinger, plus Google (Analytics, Search Console) and Microsoft (Clarity) if you accept analytics. Each processes data only to run its part of the service.
What we don't do
We don't sell personal data or "share" it for cross-context advertising.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from any email with one click.
- Ask us to delete your data by email.
- Opt out of outreach.
- Reject or withdraw analytics consent with "Cookie settings" in the footer.
